For once the Giants were dwarfed – War and Peace performed at a special event at Wentworth Woodhouse, a stately home near Rotherham, along with the amazing Man Engine – the largest mechanical puppet ever created in Britain! He’s over 11 metres tall… a most impressive way of illustrating the history of mining in Cornwall.
It was a hot summer’s day, and a large crowd enjoyed the sunshine, the beautiful surroundings, and various attractions, food and entertainers, including the Giants, before the spectacular Man Engine show.
